We’ve Been Making Houses Into Homes Since 1979

Brian Langolf, our founder, started building at just 19 years old — but construction has always been in his blood. His grandfather George Langolf built all around Port Huron, leaving behind not just a structure, but a legacy. Inspired by that heritage, and guided by mentors like his father-in-law Stanley Wolfe and friend Jerry Buckley, Brian carved out his own path in the industry.

From early on, construction wasn’t just a job — it was a family affair. Brian began taking his son Zachary to job sites when he was as young as five years old, letting him grow up around the sights, sounds, and spirit of the trade. As Zach got older, those summer site visits turned into real hands-on learning experiences, and his interest in building only deepened.

After high school, Zach was moved to help others — especially when disaster struck during the Pensacola floods. He and Brian traveled south to assist with hurricane recovery, putting their skills to work repairing homes and restoring lives. That experience sparked a turning point. When they returned, Zach earned his builder’s license, and the two officially became partners.

Now, Langolf Construction is proud to celebrate becoming a third-generation company, as Zach’s daughter Rowan — inspired by the same values and hands-on experience — has joined the team. With her fresh perspective and the same dedication that’s been passed down through the years, the Langolf legacy continues to grow stronger.

At Langolf Construction, we don’t just build houses — we build homes, our main goal is to restore communities, and carry forward a family tradition grounded in craftsmanship, honesty, and care.
